Easy Texture Adding
The easiest way to add a texture to an opacity map is by creating an outfit that you desire to be one solid color all the way down. By doing this all you have to do is make a new image 256x512, fill it in with the color of your choice, add a texture to it and apply it to your outfit in the previewer.
Making an outfit different colors and textures:
1. Create your opacity map
2. Create a new layer
3. Using the paint brush (setting of your choice) trace the outline of the area you are wanting of the color you chose. Be sure to do this on your new layer.
4. Select the fill all tool and completely fill in the center of your outlined area. Small touch ups may be needed. (images coming soon to explain all of this)
5. Add a texture to your newly colored layer. Make sure you have the new layer selected before adding the texture!
6. Create another new layer.
7. Repeat steps 3-5.
8. The more colors you want the more layers you need to create. It is so much easier working with layers. Then you can see your opacity map beneath it and make sure you color in exactly where you want that color/texture.
9. Merge all layers visible. Save as either .jpeg, .jpg, or .png
10. Apply to your opacity map in the previewer and make the adjustments you see that need to be made.
Note: This works on all opacities not just outfits! Shoes, outfits, hair ect.
